 Murphy Tri-match 3 Mobile, Alabama — On Tuesday night, Murphy High School hosted McGill-Toolen High School and St. Paul’s High School in a girls friendly tri-match.

The game format consisted of two 20 minute halves with a running clock.  In the first game McGill defeated Murphy 2-0. McGill followed this with a 1-0 win over St. Paul’s in their second game.  In the nightcap, Murphy defeated St. Paul’s 2-1.

The Alabama High School Athletic Association allows for unlimited soccer competition in the month of June, and many local schools are taking advantage of this opportunity.

  • Theodore Boys will host Alma Bryant, Baker, and Satsuma. Games start time will be 5:00PM in Theodore.

Tuesday (June 14):

  • Fairhope Girls will host St. Paul’s and Murphy.  First kick will be at 5:00PM at Founders Fields in Fairhope.
