Mobile, Alabama — The Association Football Club Mobile will be attending a pre-season Louisiana Premier League friendly between Biloxi City Futbol Club and CD Motagua of New Orleans.
The friendly will be played at the Salvation Army Ray and Joan Kroc Corps Community Center, which is located at 575 Division St, Biloxi, MS on Saturday June 18th. Kickoff will be at approximately 7:00 CST. Children are admitted for free while adults will be asked to make a $2 donation. We at AFC Mobile recommend a $5 donation.
CD Motagua of New Orleans was a Region III representative in the Lamar Hunt US Open Cup, the oldest ongoing soccer competition in the United States and at 103 years old is the third oldest soccer competition in the world. Motagua is also the back-to-back winner of the Louisiana Premier League Championship.
Biloxi City FC is the newest team in the Louisiana Premier League and the first team from outside of Louisiana to compete in a United States Soccer Federation recognized 5th Division.
